The founder’s preface
As a passionate educator, teacher, coach and social worker, I have dedicated the past 20 years to supporting families, empowering our youth and making sure that children, no matter their race, social-economic background or living conditions, are treated equal.
The story
After having spent many years in different school systems across the globe, I have decided to move back to my second home country Sénégal and build an international school at the “Petite Côte” in Ngaparou.
It is my goal to develop infrastructure for children and youth by providing quality education in English, French and German.
The first step is the establishment of my family and sport center where we offer afterschool activites, different sports, family days aand a youth club.
The second phase is the opening of my bilingual preschool on March 1st, 2025 followed by an additional kindergarten class in September, 2025.
It has always been my dream to build a school with a culture sensitive and diversity based approach from preschool to graduation.
I have developed the Baobab Pedagogy that focuses on inclusion and empowerment. This means that it is our mission to emphasize the child’s strength and abilities rather than pointing out their deficits and making them feel inferior and invisible.

Philosophy
& Mission
We live in a world full of hatred, discrimination and destruction. Social media is causing more peer pressure amongst our youth that oftentimes leads to self-doubt or even depression.
Children spend most of their day in school and it is my determination to create a stress-free environment where children can be children and youth can grow up with self-love, respect and empathy.
Our values
Bousso’s Baobab is a place of peace, hope, joy, tolerance, uplifting each other and togetherness where people who have more will happily support those who have less.
It’s a social concept that my team and I live by and that I am hoping to establish with my school and family center.
I am working in cooperation with Muriel Plag who is the international coordinator at Schulexpert gGmbH in Wetzlar, Germany.
