Cooperation

Bousso’s Baobab collaborates with recognized English and German-speaking partners to offer the best possible education and certification.

Différent schools, différent options

Many families choose to homeschool their child or opt for the online school system due to the decrease of quality education in our physical schools. The more and more children are stressed out because of school pressure, burned out teachers or mobbing amongst their peers.

Another significant aspect is to find the right school for your child. This is challenging at the Petite Côte, especially for non French speaking families.

As a mother herself, Bousso had initially enrolled her 12-year old daughter at a private bilingual school at the Petite Côte but decided to take her out after just a few weeks and switch to EduWW. Her daughter was overwhelmed with the long school schedule, the heavy work load and the lack of additional language support as a non french-speaking child.

She is now thriving, has improved her grades significantly and is motivated to learn. She will pass on to Highschool in the following schoolyear.

After exchanging with other parents and following conversations on social media, it was clear to Bousso that many families are in the same situation but don’t quite know about the different options.

There is also some doubt amongst the parents about homeschool or distance learning because of the missing social component as well as the hands on classes such as art, science and physical education.

Taking all the pros and cons into account, Bousso has decided to start a cooperation with Education World Wide which is an internationally approved online program from Kindergarten to 12th grade.

How it works

The child will be enrolled at EduWW in package one or two. Bousso’s Baobab is the liaison between the family and EduWW. We will provide a school-life atmosphere where your child can make friends and have recess with their peers. We work closely with the school and follow their curricular. We assist the children when needed and carry out assignments in art and science class. We also exercise the lesson plan of physical education. The student will have an assigned tutor as well access to individual classes online.

This self-paced program will be timely structured and implemented in a school-life routine.

Schulexpert GmbH

Schulexpert offers school and group solutions for German speaking families abroad.

The courses focus primarily on grammar and spelling units.

The school material enables individual and independent learning. Therefore, the scheduling and organization of students into small groups on-site can be arranged flexibly.

Schulexpert offers this form of distance learning so that families living abroad—for example, as expats—can continue to support their children in their native language, German, even in a foreign-language environment. This concept provides tailored teaching solutions for parent initiatives. It doesn’t matter whether the learning groups are made up of children of the same age or whether multiple grade levels are learning together in one group.

Bousso’s Baobab is working together with Muriel Plag who is the international cosultant of Schulexpert gGmbH and also part of their executive management.

With a minimum of five children, we offer German Basic classes in a school setting which is lead by a qualified educator or academically trained native speaker. These classes can be held during the week in the afternoon or on Saturday mornings.
